Why Do We Not Accept PayPal Payments?
Grand Valley Hemp Infusions was contacted by PayPal on April 14, 2019, because we had apparently violated their “acceptable use policy” by offering Hemp and CBD products.
This is surprising because industrial hemp is legal to sell and distribute in all 50 states. Industrial hemp is different than cannabis in that it contains less than 0.3% delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is the psychoactive component of marijuana.
There are many “unregulated” CBD products on the market that are not classified as legal food items and don’t provide testing results.
The CBD and hemp oil we are proud to carry here at Grand Valley Hemp Infusions have been thoroughly tested and their lab test results show very small amounts of THC in the product. This means you or your pet get the health benefits without the “high.”
In order to continue offering our popular and high-quality Hemp and CBD oils, we have decided to remove PayPal as a payment option in our store. We wish PayPal did not take this stance against a proven safe and effective food item, but we have no choice but to discontinue offering PayPal as a payment solution.
We are currently offering ACH payments and are working with a payment provider that allows the purchase of hemp products with its system. Soon we will regain the ability to use credit cards to purchase our products.
The CBD found in Grand Valley Hemp Infusions is sourced from locally grown hemp. By definition and by law, industrial hemp is <0.3% THC, therefore has no psychoactive effects when used and will not get you or your pet high.
If you require an alternative payment solution, please contact us and we would be happy to work with you.
